He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Beth" Nelson; his children, Sean McKinnon Nelson (Cassie) of Anchorage, AK, Annee Catherine Nelson-Dorr (Brad) of Winter Garden, FL, Clay McArthur Nelson (Marion) of Winter Garden, FL, Elly Marie Nelson of Jacksonville, FL and Kit Rose Nelson of Canton, GA; his grandchildren, Finnley Storm Nelson, Elias McKinnon Nelson, Ryder Skye Nelson, Oliver Thomas Nelson-Dorr and Everett James Nelson; his siblings, Stephen Nelson (Brian) of Apopka, FL and Kimberly Nelson of Longwood, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Maurice Boyd (Gretchen) of Winter Garden, FL and Jean Hiatt (Cliff) of Traveler's Rest, SC..
