Louise Stokes Cooper Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2023, at the age of 95, Louise Stokes Cooper of Thomasville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Henry Lemmie Stokes; her husband Rev. Howard David Cooper; her son Robert H. "Bobby" Cooper; and her siblings, Merle Stokes, Lloyd Stokes, Clifton Stokes, Jimmy Stokes, Larry Stokes and Joyce Baldwin Mott.
She is survived by: her sons, David A. Cooper of Atlanta, GA, Wendell F. Cooper (Gayle) of Valdosta, GA, Paul J. Cooper (Vicki) of Valdosta, GA and James H. Cooper (Robin) of Quitman, GA; and her sister Betty Hicks of Rock Springs, GA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
