He is survived by: his parents, Gregg Persing and Teresa Lynn Gasper Persing; his sister Sarah Joyner (Nat Hester); his nieces and nephews, Kirra, Jackson Joyner of Cairo and Warren Persing (Sara); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor Persing, Allie Persing and Cohen Heady of Dawsonville, GA; his nephew Chad Persing (Stacie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Walker and Reagan Persing of Thomasville, GA; his aunt Kristen Henderson of Pelham, GA; his cousins, Lauren and Chris Godwin; his grandfather James Mathis of Cairo, GA.; and also, Brownyn, Blakley, Brexdon of Pelham, Ryan Edwards, Ryley Edwards and Stephen Edwards.
