He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth L. Brown and Helen Vetter Schultz; and his sister Leslee Brown Baell. He is survived by: his wife Jean Flynn Brown of Thomasville; his children, Brent Alexander Brown, Sarah Rebecca Tabb (Tracy) of Thomasville and Jennie Elizabeth Bowden (Todd) of Thomasville; his granddaughters, Emily Elizabeth Adams (Tanner), Breanna Brown, Carrie Rebecca Bowden, Margaret Todd Bowden, Michelle Brown and Katherine McLendon Tabb; his great grandchildren, Emma-Kate and Justin Theodore; his half-sister Cheryl Ann Wood; his siblings-in-law, James Theron Flynn III and Daryl Flynn; and his nephew James David Flynn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Moultrie and or the First Presbyterian Church of Camilla.
