She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Appleton and Jewell Burkhalter Appleton; and her husband Dr. James W. Palmer Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, James W. Palmer III (Jim) of Brooklyn, NY and William Scott Palmer (Nadia) of Thomasville.

Donations may be made to Miss Kitty Feline Sanctuary at 425 Covington Ave., Thomasville, Ga. 31792.
