She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard McGalliard and Evelyn Jones McGalliard; her husband John L. Hinson; her daughter Kathy Knight; and her brother Randall McGalliard.
She is survived by: her brother Joe McGalliard (Sheila) of Thomasville; her sister-in-law Belle McGalliard of Thomasville; her aunt Saundra McGalliard of Thomasville; her stepchildren, Cheryle Gelfand (Barry) of Cummings, GA, Stephen Hinson (Cheryl) of Athens, GA and Marcus Hinson (Jeanne) of Cartersville, GA; her grandchildren, Olivia Gelfand, Isabelle Gelfand, J. T. Hinson and Ella Hinson; her nephews, Albert McGalliard of Grey, GA and Joey Winstead of Thomasville; and her niece Marsha McGalliard of Dublin, GA.
