He was predeceased by: his parents, David Monteith and Kathleen Monteith; his son David Monteith; and his siblings, Ralph Rhodes and Margret McGriff.
He is survived by: his wife Lois McRee Monteith; his son Ralph Monteith (Lisa); his nephews, Josh (Angelia) and Steve Rhodes; his niece Kathleen; his grandchildren, Brain (Layota), Matthew (Sara), Michael (Ashley) and Holly (Brad); and his great grandchildren, Orin, Iala, Luke, Levi, Walker, Emerson and Sevanna.
His family will hold a private graveside service officiated by Dr. Jimmy Clanton and ask that donations be made to your favorite charity or to the Giddens.
