He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alexander Milton, Sr. and Eva Floyce Milton of Freeman's Business College; and his son David Milton. He is survived by: his wife Emily Smith; his children, Alan Milton (late Susan), Martin Milton (Dianne), Gary Milton (Gale) and Helen Milton Meeks (Randall); and his grandchildren, Alison Welch (Jacob), Jeremy Bill (Sarah), A. J. Milton (Morgan), Alex Milton (Jessica), Suzanne Milton, Valerie Duncan (Kyle), Derek Milton (Tara), Matthew Milton (Kayla), Lara Clay (Paul), Brenna Meeks and Kayla Meeks.
