He is survived by: his mother Lillian King of Murphy, NC; his wife Sheila Carroll Burgess King; his children, Lee King (Mandy) of Boston, GA, Matt Burgess (Ashley) of Coolidge, GA, Cole Burgess (Leigh Ann) of Valdosta, GA and Anna Burgess Amiss (David) of Youngsville, NC.; his grandchildren, Austin, Tyler King of Boston, Hunter, Lainey Burgess of Coolidge, Mason Burgess of Valdosta, Luke of Youngsville, NC., Abigail of Youngsville, NC., Judson of Youngsville, NC., Elliott Amiss of Youngsville, NC. and Katelynn Gardner of Youngsville, NC.; and his siblings, Larry King (Jamie), John Robert King (DeAnn) and Sharon Thweatt (Greg) of Thomasville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
