He was predeceased by: his parent Lyman Green Hinson; his stepdaughter Kathy Knight; and his brother Cecil Hinson. He is survived by: his parent Lila Maxine Hatcher Hinson; his spouse Judy McGalliard Hinson; his children, Cheryle Gelfand (Barry) of Cumming, Stephen Hinson (Cheryl) of Athens and Marcus Hinson (Jeanne) of Cartersville; his grandchildren, Olivia Gelfand, Isabelle and Ella Hinson; and his nephews, Lofley Hinson of Cairo and Dan Hinson of Hinsonton.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Thomasville YMCA Scholarship Program, PO Box 1037, Thomasville, Ga, 31799, to help less fortunate kids attend YMCA summer camps.
