He is survived by: his parent John Herman Gass, Sr.; his spouse Barbara Burkett Gass; his son John Gass (Jeannie) of Harrogate; his stepson Bart Harper (Heather) of St. Marys; his grandchildren, Rusty Watcher of Harrogate, Nathan Harper and Jordan Harper; and his sisters, Barbara Desantis (Vince) of Jacksonville and Susan Samela (Rob) of Washington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
