She was predeceased by: her parents, James S. Sherrod and Ella Nesmith Sherrod; and her siblings, Helen Simmons and James Samuel Sherrod. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Redding; and her children, Thomas Michael Redding (Sharon) of Camilla, Rebecca Carlson (Robert) of Lawrenceville and James E. Redding (Holli) of Pavo. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
