It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie H. Chastain of Thomasville, Georgia, who passed away on March 25, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Silas Shiver and Thelma Hamilton Shiver; her husband James Burness Chastain; her daughter Debbie Broadway; and her sister Delma Chastain.
She is survived by: her children, Helen Broadway (Gerald) of Thomasville and Phillip Chastain (Cathy) of Thomasville; her sisters, Jeanette Chastain of Thomasville and Geneva McGarrah (Billy) of Ochlocknee, GA; and her grandchildren, Cindy Germain (Bart) of Grovetown, GA, Steve Hingson (Wendi) of Ooltewah, TN, Michael Broadway (Jaden) of Santa Rosa, FL, Todd Broadway of Thomasville and Kaili Taghon (Kyle) of Valdosta, GA. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
