He was predeceased by: his father James Carter. He is survived by: his children, Scarlett Croft (Larry) of Thomasville, Jimmy Carter (Janice) and Raymond Carter; his grandchildren, Kent, Shalon Croft, Waverley, Philip Thurman, Jamie Mark Robinson, Del, Kelly Keene, Raymond Lee Carter Jr., Ryan Carter, Robert Carter and Kera Carter; and his brothers, Danny Carter (Karen) and Ricky Carter (Krista). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
