He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel David Willis and Gertrude Whiddon Willis; and his siblings, Robert Willis of Thomasville, Betty Ruth Key of Albany and Helen Peacock of Niceville, FL..
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sangster; his children, Beverly Holt (Rodney) and Joseph Willis (Rhonda); his sister Sue Bradford of Blackshear, GA; and his grandchildren, Chris Holt (Shelley), Chance Holt (Shelley), Preston Willis, Jacob Willis (Trina), DJ Willis (Loren) and Christopher Willis.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Allen & Allen Funeral Home (110 W Hansell St, Thomasville, GA 31792). A graveside service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Laurel Hill Cemetery (901 W Jackson St, Thomasville, GA 31792).
