He is survived by: his mother Louise Bush Butler; his daughter Joni Palmer Freeman (James); his grandsons, Hunter Freeman of Tallahassee, FL. and Walker Freeman of Tallahassee, FL.; his stepfather Therman Butler of Panacea, FL; and his sisters, Sammie Akridge (DeLeon) of Pelham, Mimi Brock of Thomasville and Laura Talent (Junior) of Vada.
