He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mickey Delaney, Deloris Delaney and Jack Delaney. He is survived by: his brothers, Donald Delaney and Gerald Delaney (Hilda); his wife Betty Jo Newsome Delaney; and his son Steven Howard Delaney.
