He is survived by: his children, Horace Edwin Raper, Jr. (Gail) of Dixie, Michael James Raper (Ruthie) of Ooltewah, TN and Patricia Ann Souders (Greg) of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Edwin Raper (Vivian), Megan Rich (Nathan), Chris Raper (Michelle), Jonathan Raper (Christine), Timothy Raper, Jessica Raper, Joshua Raper, Christa Graham (Oby), Matthew Souders (Jennifer), Joseph Souders (Lori), Alyssa Souders and David Souders; and his great grandchildren, Ian Raper, Ava Rich, Lane Rich, Kyle Raper, Conner Graham, Sophie Graham and Owen Souders. He is also survived by his wife of 72 years, whom he married.
