It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria McMath Gibbs of Thomasville, Georgia, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Melvin McMath and Bessie Davis McMath; her husband Gerald Gibbs; her son Alan Gibbs; and her son-in-law Lewann Hobbs.
She is survived by: her daughter Gerolyn Gibbs Hobbs Castlelaw (James) of Greenville, SC; her grandchildren, Dana Hobbs Penick (Mike) of Murrells Inlet, SC, Kelon Hobbs (Paige) of Greenville, SC and Allie Gibbs of Thomasville, GA; her great grandchildren, Kelon Penick (Deidre), Hunter Paige McCorkle (Drew), Brecken Hobbs and Karter Neel; and her great great grandchildren, Nyla McCorkle and Iris Tyner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID, there will be no visitation. Family requests that masks be worn and social distancing guidelines followed.
