It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria K. Slaughter in Thomasville, Georgia, who passed away on August 16, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her sons, Phillip (Sharon), Michael (Amanda) and Andrew (Laurie); her grandchildren, Patrick (Sara), Jordan, Anna, Ava, Mariah Bailey (Bryan), Harrison, Colson and Marshall Slaughter; her stepgrandsons, Zach and Spencer Sherrod (Hannah); her great grandchildren, Landon and Caroline Slaughter; and her stepgreat-grandchild Sawyer Sherrod. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
