She is survived by: her parent Viola Jones Hesters; her spouse Frank Powers; and her children, Ruby Tinsley (Russell) of Thomasville, Linda Poss (David) of Thomasville, Norma Judd (James) of Thomasville, Helen Skipper (Gary) of Thomasville, Dan Powers of Thomasville, Wendell Powers of Thomasville and Donnie Powers of Thomasville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
