It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Strickland (Thomasville, Georgia), who passed away on January 13, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Bennett and Viola Rossie Bennett; and her son Daniel Franklin Strickland. She is survived by: her husband Herman F. Strickland of Waycross, GA; her daughters, Susan Bailey of Seymour, TN, Cindy Thompson (Irvin) of Waycross, GA, Angela Strickland of Waycross, GA and Jane Strickland of Thomasville; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Bailey, April Adkins, Clay Colvin, Robert Thompson, Perry Thompson and Desiree Thomas. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
