With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily Baron (Thomasville, Georgia), who passed away on January 4, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Scott of Georgia and John Pelham Scott; her husband Oscar Benjamin Baron; her friend Latavia Richardson; her children, Mary Margaret Baron of Tampa, Fla. and John Thomas Baron (Tiffany); her grandchildren, Jacob, Zane and Olivia of Ellenton; her sister Janyce Scott Ellington (Don Ellington) of Rome; her nephew Dr. Kent Ellington (Margaret); her great-nephew Murray; her great-niece Anne Walker Ellington of Rome; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Baron, Becky Rentz, Kathy Becton, Connie Sue Rhodes (Andy), Martha Richter (John) and Guerry Baron (Pam). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, and her many rescued animals, cats and dog.
Due to pandemic concerns, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
