He was predeceased by: his parent Loy Ernest Hower; and his daughter Candy Hower Colflesh. He is survived by: his parent Doris Irene Knapp Hower; his wife Connie Hower of Thomasville; his children, David Hower of Thomasville, Solomon Hower of Oak Harbor, WA and Tineka Ingram of Thomasville; and his sister Carol Denham of Albany. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
