She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hayward Edwards and Cora Mae Rackley Edwards; her husband Rodney Dean Brogdon; and her siblings, Hayward Edwards, Louellen Brown, Shelva Jean Newberry and Jeanette Crosby.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Brogdon Barwick (Scott) of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Mattie Waters of Thomasville and AJ Waters of Thomasville; and her siblings, Ruby Edwards, Kathy Lewis, Sue Sadler, Debbie Edwards, Betty Jo Ragan, Steve Edwards and Clifton Edwards, Jr..
