He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Dewitt Rehberg, Sr. and Fannie Lou Allen Rehberg; and his brothers, Cecil James Rehberg and Olin Dewitt Rehberg, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hammock Rehberg; his children, Elizabeth Ann Sumner (Mike), Charles Darrell Rehberg, Jr. (Bridget) and Michelle Lynn Whitfield (Earl Livings); his grandsons, Gavin Whitfield, Conner Whitfield, Caleb Rehberg, Haiden Rehberg and Brandon Sumner; and his sisters, Judy Duncan, Diane Whitaker, Jeanne Baggett and Debbie Wright.
