He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman McDougale and Rence Hampton McDougale; his sons, Bobby J. McDougale Jr. (Scooter) and Donald Emory Owens; and his siblings, Sherman McDougale, Willard Mack McDougale, Sonny McDougale, Lea Johnson and Ruth Lamar.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie McDougale; his sister Doris Vinson of Macon; his nephew Ernest McDougale; his niece Melissa McDougale; and his great-nephew Jayden McDougale. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
