He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Griner and Melba J. Griner; his wife Eileen Yvonne Scott; his sister Peggy Griner; and his sister-in-law Maie Griner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Porter (Keith) of Crawfordville, Kristina Slaton (Shane) of Metcalfe and Dana Twehues (Daniel) of Thomasville, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Matthew Porter (Jillian), Kyle Porter (Danielle), Taylor Acrey and Bobby Daniel Twehues; his brother Bill Griner; his nephews, Travis and Troy of Byron, Georgia.; and his cousin South of Georgia.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allen & Allen Funeral Home (110 W Hansell St, Thomasville, GA 31792). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
