It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Lafaye Kersey Holton of Thomasville, Georgia, born in Baxley, Georgia, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Lewis Kersey Sr. and Mary Madie Kersey (Burke); her husband Charles C. Holton Sr.; and her siblings, Buddy Kersey, Albert Kersey, Robert Kersey, Tom Jones, Waunell Mock, Lou Nell Williams, Dorothy Nida and Elaine Jones.
She is survived by: her sons, Chip Holton (Susie) of Mooresville and David Holton (Tricia) of Blythewood; her siblings, Joey Kersey (Monie) of Cleveland, Carl Jones of Fernandina Beach, Elwanda Johnson of Brunswick and Sara Laughter (Larry) of Horse Shoe; and her grandsons, Chevy Bryant, Trey Holton, Jon Holton, Tyler Holton, Tyler Hester and Jon Hester. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
