He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Oscar Dunwody Jackson and Joyce Roberson Jackson; and his stepbrother John G. Hinson. He is survived by: his nephew Rev. Oscar D. Jackson III (Trey); his siblings, Dr. Oscar D. Jackson (Vickie) and Amy J. Price (Bert); and his nieces and nephews, Trey Jackson (Hananel), Kate J. Harden (Patrick), Kelly Jackson (Caroline), Hannah J. Van Brunt (Thomas), Daniele Price and Charles Price.
