We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2024, at the age of 79, Al Stone (Thomasville, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Eugenia Vickers Stone and Henry Alvin Stone. He is survived by: his wife Jean Powell Stone; his sons, Hank Stone (Marnee Gaines) and Byron (Barbaree Jordan); his grandchildren, Karson Stone, Elli Stone, Brady Stone and Aidan Stone; and his brothers-in-law, Roy Powell (Kay) and Kenny Powell (Donna). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to The First Methodist Church of Thomasville, Georgia, 425 N Broad St, Thomasville, GA 31792 or The Thomasville Humane Society, 180 Big Star Drive Thomasville, GA 31757.
