The passing of Sandra Ellington Fenley of Thomaston, Georgia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 14, 2024 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Parker Ellington and Rhunette Hayes Ellington; her husband Bobby Dwight Fenley; and her brothers-in-law, James Ellington and Tommy Harp.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherri Wear (David) of Maryville, TN; her grandson Jackson Wear of Maryville, TN; her sisters, Eloise Ellington of Yatesville, GA and Connie Harp of Woodland, GA; her brother-in-law Lonnie Fenley of Thomaston; her cousin Dale Flynn of Thomaston; and her pet Gracie. She is also survived by several other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home (628 N Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286). A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the South View Cemetery (942 S Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286).
