It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Edward Yarbrough of Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Howell Yarbrough and Viola Holmes Yarbrough; his brother Mike Yarbrough; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Bass. He is survived by: his daughter Dixie Miller (Robert) of Barnesville; his siblings, Bill Yarbrough (Louise) of Iowa and Sharlene Bass; his grandchildren, Heather Steward (Jimmy), Caitlyn Fox (Cody), Margaret Miller, Sarah Alice Gay and Hannah Hobbs; and his great grandchildren, Gracie, Mylee, James, Hudson and Ripkin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Coggins Funeral Home (321 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
