Peggy Middlebrooks Cleveland Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2025, at the age of 85, Peggy Middlebrooks Cleveland of Thomaston, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Middlebrooks and Sara Tiller Wainwright; her husband Homer Howard Cleveland; her daughters, Angela McCullough and Vickie Lynn Toomey; her granddaughter Alisha Sullivan; and her siblings, Harris Middlebrooks, JoAnn Stephens and Betty Jean Adams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Regina Lee (Jimbo) of Stockbridge and Kristi Griffin (Keith) of Thomaston; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Colon, Stephanie Wright, Kevin Lee, Kelli Fulkerson, Kim Mangham, Adam Toomey and Amber Toomey. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fletcher Day Funeral Home (628 N Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at the Upson Memorial Gardens (1367 Woodland Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286).
