As we bid Patricia farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Patricia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James D and Reeves (Katherine Reeves); her grandmother Lorene Buchanan; and her brother Bennie Floyd Lamar, Jr.. She is survived by: her niece Katrina Lamar; her great-niece Triona Webb; her sister Evelyn Raines; and her nephew Harold Raines of Thomaston, GA. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
After its closing, she begin working with the City of Detroit Election Committee, Downtown East City Radio Patrol and the Polly Johnson Cancer Foundation.
