She was predeceased by: her parents, Fountain C. Gatlin, Sr. and Helen M. Skinner Wooten; her granddaughter Sofie; and her siblings, Ruthie Heathcoe, Henry Gatlin and Daniel Gatlin.
She is survived by: her children, James Peugh (Michelle) of Thomaston, Robert Stanfield (Dana), Kim Akins of Barnesville and April Bethune (David Mayfield) of Thomaston; and her sisters, Charlotte Patrick, Fountain C. "Buddy" Gatlin, Jr., Virginia Sheridan and Jewel Marsiglio (Jeffrey Gatlin). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who were like her own children.
