It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ralston Greathouse of Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. E. H. Ralston and Bertha Burtz Ralston; her husband Sheriff Merrill Greathouse; her brother Eugene Ralston; and her brother-in-law Robert "Bob" Alfonso.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Greathouse (Diane), Don Greathouse (Julie) of Thomaston and Cheryl Greathouse (Nancy) of Thomaston; her siblings, Rudolph Ralston (Ann), Wilburn Ralston (Shirley), Martha Alfonso and Elizabeth Beohm (Richard); her sister-in-law Jean Ralston; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Rogers (Michael), Rachael Truitt (Jeff), Murphy Greathouse (Emily), Ashli Farrar (Matt), Blake Odom (LeAnn), Brittany Garcia (Ed), Nikki Martin and Bobby Botts (Kayla). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
