He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Maxwell Fountain and Alice Cook Fountain; his wife Sydney Geraldine Forehand Fountain; his daughter Karen Harris; his siblings, Lee Maxwell Fountain Jr., Frances Lively, Hazel Pafford and Carolyn Larriviere; his grandson Brandon Fountain; and his great grandchild Dayne Lowry.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy McGee (Russ) of Thomaston, Lee Fountain (Wanda) of Thomaston and Jason Fountain (Kimberly) of Thomaston; and his grandchildren, Wayne Lowry, Kelly Lowry, Jenna Hutchens, Kayla M. Thompson, Kyle McGee, Leann Odom, Shane Fountain, Kason Fountain and Paige Aultman. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
