She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Haygoog and Eva Carter Chambley; her husband Felton Blackmon; her daughters, Debbie Strickland, Connie Blackmon, Peggy Canady and Betty Jo Thomas; and her brother Ernest Haygood.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kathy Griffin, Kasy Casto, Gary Thomas, Kimberly Thomas, Eric Thomas, Chasity Davidson, Wendy Carella, Kelly Ussery and Tracy McKee. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Coggins Funeral Home (321 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home (321 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286). A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at the Crystal Hill Cemetery (321 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286).
