Joyce Lavonne Edwards Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Lavonne Edwards in Thomaston, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Braxton (Brack) and Lola Chastain Trawick; her husband Elwyn G. Edwards; her sisters, Jean Trawick Hurst and Jo Trawick Stephens; and her great grandchild Levi Weston Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Clay Edwards (Debby) and Dawana Edwards; her grandchildren, Darby Lea Edwards Wisecup (Bret), Nathan Edwards (Amanda), Caitlyn Edwards Price (Blaine), Shawn Pate (Janalyn) and Jeremiah Pate; and her great grandchildren, Laela Fynn Wisecup, Lana Belle Wisecup, Aubrey Frances Edwards, Eliza Wynn Edwards, Grayson Hayes Price and Anieryn Wilder Wisecup. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Crystal River Crystal River, Florida (700 N Citrus Ave, Crystal River, FL 34428). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 12:30 PM.
