He is survived by: his parents, Ruth Vickery Pippins of Thomaston and Jackson Eugene Pippins; his children, Katie Cheek (James) of Thomaston and Keith Pippins (Anna) of Woodland; his grandson Jackson Cole Cheek; and his sister-in-law Wendy Pippins.
