He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Green Royal and Frances Shirley Royal; his sister Pat Mathews; and his grandson Kyle Spraggins. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Royal of Thomaston Ga; his children, Amanda Greene (Johnny) of Thomaston Ga and Jason Shumate of Thomaston Ga; his brother Jimmy Royal of Thomaston Ga; his grandchildren, Anna Jones (Keline), Autumn Perkins (Dylan), Lexi Greene and Damion Shumate; his caregiver Pam Homman; and his pet Max. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
