It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elder William E. Morgan (Thomaston, Georgia), who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Edgar Morgan and Daisy Helen Stephens Morgan; and his wife Fran McKinley Morgan. He is survived by: his sister Myrna Pope (Randy) of Moreland, GA; and his nieces and nephews, Rita Welch Baughcum (David), Amanda, Kayla, Marty McKinley (Lynn) and Chris Pope. He is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fletcher Day Funeral Home (628 N Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at the Trice Cemetery (1037 Trice Cemetery Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286).
