She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Winford Pitts and Mamie Lee Parkerson Pitts; her husband Bobby Gene McKissick Sr.; and her son Dennis McKissick. She is survived by: her boyfriend Don Morris of Thomaston Ga; her children, Karen Welch (John) of Thomaston Ga and Gene McKissick (Jane) of Cumming Ga; her daughter-in-law Vickie McKissick of Thomaston Ga; her sister Joan Roth of Winthrop Ma; her grandchildren, Stephen McKissick (Tori), Nathan McKissick (Whitney), Cory McKissick (Lori Anne), Courtney Eidson (Heath), Amiee Landers (Will), Jordan McKissick and Kerra McAlum (Bryan); and her stepgrandchildren, Amiee Bell (Isiah) and Ayla Wells. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Coggins Funeral Home (321 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
