We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2024, at the age of 73, Benny Hamby of Thomaston, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hamby and Mary Tolen Hamby; and his siblings, Ernest Hamby, Jr., James Hamby, Donnie Hamby, Bobby Hamby and Evangeline Boyt.
He is survived by: his daughter Misty Conway of Thomaston; his granddaughters, Kaleigh Grace Conway and Presleigh Kate Conway; his great grandchild Hazeleigh Rae; and his sisters, Hazel James of Macon, Runette Bobo (Richard) of Macon, Earnestine Fordham of Thomaston, Liz Harris and Diane Hamby of Commerce. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
