We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2025, Becky Hemperley (Thomaston, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Will Barfield; her cousin Judy Storey Payne (Harold); and her granddaughter Jessica Michelle Glass Atkins (Granby). She is survived by: her cousin Steven Shepard; her aunt Becky; her niece Donna Dobbs Moore (Charles); her nephews, H. Marcus Dobbs (Teresa) and Philip Raymond Dobbs (Michelle); her grandchildren, Sarah Bell Corrado (Justin), Johnathan David Bell, Rebecca Fiske (Jason) and Mark Anthony Glass, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Abigail Faith Atkins, Ashlyn Grace Atkins, Christian Asa Bell and Sheriff Fiske; and also, Joni Payne Young (Scott) and Julie Ann Payne Crane (Mike).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fletcher Day Funeral Home (628 N Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the South View Cemetery (942 S Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286).
Memorials may be made to the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, Atlanta, Ga.
