He was predeceased by: his stepson Billy Perry, Sr.; and his parents-in-law, Bill and Ann Marie Kinzer. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Kinzer Hirons; his children, Eric Hirons, Aaron Hirons, Terry Hirons, Jr., Joseph Hirons and Crystal Mathews; and his stepson Huelon Perry, Jr. of The Rock. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews.
