She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Engle and Blanche Engle; her husband George A. "Buddy" Gassett; and her siblings, Doris Shumate and Billy Engle.
She is survived by: her sons, Tommy Gassett (Helen) of Thomaston, Todd Gassett (Mary) of Thomaston and Tandy Gassett (Crystal) of Thomaston; and her brothers, Jimmy Engle (Glenda) of Thomaston and Thomas Engle (Jackie) of The Rock.
