He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Bland and Mattie Lee Brown Bland. He is survived by: his significant other Madge McAfee Bland; his daughter Lisa B. Franklin (Tim); his grandson William Franklin (Stefany); his great grandchildren, Emily Franklin of Tennille and Lawson Franklin of Tennille; his daughter Lynn B. McDonald (Ken); and his grandchildren, Stewart McDonald (Allison) of Little Rock and Melanie McDonald of Tennille.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the May and Smith Funeral Directors (1119 Riddleville Rd, Sandersville, GA 31082). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at the Zeta Cemetery.
