He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Davie and Mary Ann Broson Davie; his wife Ruth Curtis Davie; and his daughters, Ruthie Davie and Kathy Davie Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Richard C. Davie of Keystone, FL., James Walter "Jim" Davie (Diane) of Sandersville, Barbara Jean D. Horne of Tennille, Debbie D. Manning (John) of Keystone, FL. and William James "Billy" Davie of Tennille. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
